What does the Calgary Stampede and campground making have in common? Well, we arrived a day early to see the special campground set up by Fantasy just for their customers at McMahon Stadium. Water and power lines are laid out to make our camping as comfortable as possible, but that pales compared to the restrooms and showers. Wow! There is plenty of hot water and lots of water pressure to make the 15 minute time allotments a little bit of heaven. As RVers, short showers are the norm, so 15 minutes is a plus.
Being right across the street from the C Train station is so convenient. We can come and go as we please to the Stampede Grounds or to downtown where the activities and restaurants are located. For now it is time to see old friends and make new ones as more and more people arrived today. Gathering around the campfire with perfect weather is a great end to the day. The Rally is off to a fantastic start!
