We’re now in the lands of the highest tides in the
world. A walk along the “flower pots” is truely amazing. These formations, carved by the surf, are beautiful to behold. AND – to experience the tide-changes is beautiful: the water here in Funday Bay rises nearly 48 feet from low to high tide – twice each day. In the morning we visited the area and walked on the bottom of the bay – when we returned in the evening, the water was 39 feet above our morning footsteps! Take a look at these shots!
