What a beautiful area. The trees are clothed in brilliant yellow and orange leaves that shimmer in the gentle breeze. So far, two days before rally day, there are only about 5 out of the 16 guests who arrived early like us in the campground. Before arriving, we stopped in Rugby…about 20 miles to the south…to fuel up and top off our propane. We also discovered the Museum of the Prairie…a museum and restored village commemorating the rich history & culture of the peoples who emigrated from Europe and settled in the area. The tallest man in the world (8’ 5”) born to normal sized
parents also came from here. Apparently he became a successful attorney. Rugby is also the geographical center of the continent of North America.
